baby.

Awwwww, look at my adorable cousin. :) He's just about 2 weeks old. Isn't he cute when he's all wrapped up in blankets like a cocoon? Hehe. Well, my aunty is 30+ years old, just gone through a more than 10 hours period of labor while delivering him. Ohmygod, 10 freakin' hours of pain, can you just imagine? Sigh, but what's more important here is when you get to hold him in your arms, right? Yes, being a mother is a lot of sacrifice. How do you be a mother? Most people would say that it is an instinct that will naturally come to you, but when I listened to my aunty.. She doesn't know how. It's hard, and it's something you must learn. For instance, myself, I'm scared to hold a baby, because they are fragile to me, and i don't know when I'll trip or slip or fall, I can't risk falling while the baby is in my hands. o.o So yeah, that's something you have to learn to do. Don't forget that you've got to get up every 3 hours to feed your baby, you've got to clean up his vomit and cheer him up when he cries, and guess what? You have no 'leaves' to take from becoming a mother because your baby will always, always need you.
